Shadow Rush Plush

I am never making a plush again. At least not for a while. This was a bit of a nightmare. And I apologize for the poor image quality; my dorm room has terrible lighting.

Anyways, I used the same pattern as last time, though I altered it slightly. I tried to make it a bit broader by enlarging the muzzle and adding a little bit onto the legs to buff them up. Cutie mark was again fed into the embroidery machine, the eyes stitched then painted. The mane and tail were nightmares to sew because they were tri-colored, but I figured it out. I ended up using black yarn again for details like feather definition, mouth, and nose. I tried gray, but it looked a little odd, and red made him look possessed. So I stuck with black.

The hat is a flocked, plastic doll's hat I painted the band onto and then used a blowdrier to bend up the brim so it wouldn't interfere with the ears.

He now sits on my headboard alongside a shell that gave to me.
