Foreword: Dragons and wyverns are not really in the same category, I just didn't have a better title in mind. Wyverns are dragon-like,, but they do not have forelegs, just hind legs and wings. Wyverns also require a place to jump from in order to fly, whereas western dragons are capable of lift-off from the ground.

  • Otulissa - She's a white oriental dragon with golden belly scales and white fur on the tip of her tail. Her head looks a little bit more like a western dragon's and bears four black horns and a short black spike on the end of her nose. Her eyes change color based on her mood. She chooses to show herself as about the same size as a Shetland pony, but I know for a fact that she’s three stories tall. As a dragon, I wouldn't be able to pronounce her true name, so she's given me this one to use. It's no surprise as she took the name of the scholarly owl from the "Guardians of Ga'Hoole" series as she's a Cataloguer, examining anything and everything she can get her claws on. She carries around a clipboard and is always taking notes. She has a mischievous personality, and has happily dropped me into difficult situations to test my mettle. Despite this, she’s always there to assist me and uses her power to magnify my own. Ever since she adopted me (I’m apparently her pet human, and apparently there is such a thing as "paper-work" in the spirit realms), my clarity, or ability to see, sense, and hear spirits, has increased ten-fold.
  • Rok - This is a young green wyvern. Green wyverns are much friendlier than other wyvern breeds (as with dragons, their color indicates their breed), and have an intelligence level akin to that of green dragons. Their wings have a thumb-like claw that assists in climbing trees, sort of like what bats have. Rok has two white horns and a smaller spike on his nose. He was separated from his family and just sort of fell into my own group. Though his family did find him again, he refused to rejoin them, saying that I was his "mommy" now (which scared me half to death, never get between a mother wyvern and her chick), but they accepted this. He's a little clumsy but keeps a very chipper attitude no matter now many times he falls flat on his face. This is a good thing, as he's still learning how to fly. Otulissa has been instructing him in this, being the most knowledgeable on the subject, and the way that chicks are taught is by literally shoving them off of high places until they figure out how their wings are supposed to work. Wyvern chicks are sturdy enough to deal with the awkward landings, but sadly Fearn (see Foxes) has decided Rok's flailing falls look like fun and has taken to jumping off rooftops after him, much to Ceallegh's chagrin.
  • Wren and Sango - Wren is a silver/blue wyvern, a cross breed chick. She bears the same frills on her head as the coastal blue wyvern, but her wings have the silver's three sharp claws to climb up icy cliffs with. Both blues and silvers are very intelligent, and so she is as well. Her scales shimmer back and forth between the two colors. Sango is a red wyvern. Red wyverns are the most bestial of the breeds, highly territorial and exceedingly aggressive. They have two very long fingers on their wings to assist in climbing sheer mountains and volcanoes. Sango was orphaned (yes, spirits can die) through some very tragic events that I'd rather not get into, and Rok decided that since I had taken such great care of him, I should adopt the little red chick as well. Otulissa said nothing as she enjoys giving me new challenges. I gave Sango his name, and I offer as much love as I can to him. He is still at the age where all he can manage is little whistles and trills, which is very cute. Wren is a little bit older than Sango and was "given" to me by her parents, who felt that experiencing life with a human caretaker would be good for her, and since I now had two chicks already in my care, I must be very capable. I don't think the same way, but I wasn't about to argue with them.

Funny. In the Astral Plane where my friends and I reside, all the 'Chromatics' or coloured dragons, are evil. Ex: Black, White, Red, Blue, Green, Red. Whilst, teh 'Metallic' are the good guys. Ex: Gold, Silver, Bronze, Brass, and Copper. I happen to be a hybrid. ^_^
